It's time to believe again. You may have situations that look like they're set in stone, but everything you're facing is subject to change. It is not over until God says it is over. Even if you've been praying for a situation for ten or thirty years, God is still at work and has an answer. We shouldn't accept the difficult situations in our lives or unanswered prayers as permanent. Despite what's going on externally, no matter how long things have been the way they are, decide to hope and believe in God. In the natural, things may look the same, but the scripture says in Philippians 2:13 that God is constantly at work in those who believe. We need to have the attitude that we are not moved by what we see, but we are moved by what we know. We know is that the Creator of universe is at work in those who believe in His resurrecting power. Do you believe in the power of Almighty God? If you'll remember how big God is and view every difficult situation as temporary, you will come to a new season of peace, faith and hope. God is always at work in those who believe!
Choosing Between Friendship or Relationship

Some of us have a million friends, some of us a few friends, but most of us would surely have a friend or friends whom are extremely special. Usually if both are of the same sex, it would not be a problem. The tricky bit comes in when a guy and girl becomes good friends. So then, friendship or relationship?
Well, as always, there are always a few things to follow so that you would not make the wrong decision. There is no right or wrong here. Kind of a gamble I would say. It could turn out either way but if you follow these guidelines, there would be lesser hurt than if you dive blindly into the sea of love.
You got to keep in mind one thing: Be responsible for your actions. Whatever you choose to do, do it and accept whatever consequences. If it does not turn out all right, don't blame anyone but yourself. If you do that, there might actually be chances of recovery.
It's a dilemma for many because you do not want to lose a friend but at the same time, you want to find out if this person could be your true love. It is all well if both of you feel the same for each other, but most of the time, the trouble is you don't. Letting that person know how you feel might actually scare the person away if he or she does not feel the same way about you. That is why always start off as friends and build upon the relationship as friends.
It is difficult but extremely important. Don't let your feelings ruin the friendship. Start to cement the bond as friends first, not as a lover. If you have a firm friendship, the likelihood of that person shying away from you is less when you tell him or her your feelings. Because it might be just a one off attraction it is always good to give yourself a month or two as a guage of whether this person is actually the one for you. For all you know, a month of two later, you find out something new about the person that you would not want in a lover. You would be glad then that you were not reckless in the beginning. Thus, it is important to learn more about this person before doing anything.
If after a long substantial period of time, and you continue to feel a lot for the person, then it would be a good time to let him or her know your feelings. As I have always maintained, it is no good to keep your feelings inside of you. Extremely unhealthy. The time will come which you will feel suitable to say. If you had followed the guideline and everything that you did for him or her was because you care very much for him or her as a friend, whatever the outcome would be easier to handle but you two started off on the right foot. You can't build a friendship from a relationship , but you can build a relationship from a friendship. Immerse yourself in the friendship first before anything so even if nothing happens between the two of you, you still would not have lost a friend.

No matter the subject it as always as useful to know what NOT to do, as it is to know what to do. I'm here to tell you, I am uniquely qualified to tell you how NOT to attract desirable sexy women. Why? Because I spent dang near 10 years perfecting that art before I stopped doing what doesn't work, and started doing what DOES work.
So, today, we're going to talk about what NOT to do when it comes to attraction. This will give you a handy guide of things to avoid when interacting with any sexy woman.
First off, don't try to impress her by talking about yourself, how much money you make, the playoff game you won, etc., etc. Believe me, she's heard all that before, by men who are smarter, better looking, and more successful than you or I. Instead, ask her genuine, open-ended questions about herself, and pay close attention to her answers. Shut off the conversation in your own head, and pay attention to her--you'll be amazed at how this creates attraction.
Don't ask her if "you can take her out," or if she "has a boyfriend," or if you can "have her number." You're letting her define the relationship, which sexy women HATE. In addition, questions like these activate subconscious processes that lead to autopilot answers (like NO!). It's the same thing as a salesperson asking you, "Can I help you?" and you saying, "No thanks, just looking." Switch the question to, "What specifically are you looking for?" and you'll get a better answer--same thing when setting up a second meeting with the woman you're talking to. "Let's continue this conversation over coffee sometime," works a heck of a lot better than, "Can I take you out?"

She's already heard it, and knows you're trying to "compliment your way into her pants." Did you know that NASA's space programmers are busy proving that was has
been called 'myth' in the Bible is true? Mr. Harold Hill, President of the
Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, and a consultant in the space
programmes, relates the following incident:
One of the most amazing things that God has for us today happened recently
to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland. They were
checking out the positions of the sun, moon and planets out in space where
they would be 100, and 1000 years from now. We have to know this as we do
not want a satellite to collide with any of these in its orbits. We have to
lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the
planets will be so the whole project will not bog down. Computer
measurements and data were run back and forth over the centuries when
suddenly it came to a halt, displaying a red signal, which meant that either
there was something wrong with the information fed into it or with the
results as compared to the standards. They called in the service department
to check it out, and the technicians asked what was wrong.
The scientists had discovered that somewhere in space in elapsed time a day
was missing. Nobody seemed able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Finally one of the team, a Christian, said: "You know, when I was still in
Sunday School, they spoke about the sun standing still......."
While his colleagues didn't believe him, they did not have an answer either,
so they said: "Show us." He got a Bible and opened it at the book of Joshua
where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with 'common
sense'. There they read about the...
Lord saying to Joshua: "Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not be a man of them stands before thee." (Joshua 10-8).
Joshua was concerned because the enemy had surrounded him, and if darkness
fell, they would overpower him. So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun
stand still! That's right "And the sun stood still and the moon stayed,
until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is this not
written in the book of Ja'sher? So the sun stood still in the midst of
heaven and hastened not to go down about a whole day." (Joshua 10:13).
The astronauts and scientists said: "There is the missing day!" They checked
the computers going back into the time it was written and found it, but it
was not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day
was 23 hours and 20 minutes not a whole day. They read the Bible again and
there it was: "about (approximately) a day." These little words in the Bible
were important, but they were still in trouble, because another 40 minutes
were still unaccounted for, and this could mean trouble 1000 years from now.
Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over
in orbits.
As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the
Bible which said the sun went backwards. The scientists told him he was out
of his mind, but once again they opened the Book and read these words in 2
Kings.
Hezekiah, on his deathbed, was visited by the prophet, Isaiah, who told him
he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for some sign as proof. Isaiah said:
"Shall the sun go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?" And Hezekiah
answered: "It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; nay,
but let the shadow return backwards ten degrees." And Isaiah the prophet
cried unto the Lord, and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by
which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz." (2 Kings 20:9 11).
Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes! Twenty-three hours and twenty minutes in
Joshua, plus 40 minutes in 2 Kings accounted for the missing day in the
universe!
Isn't this amazing? Our God is rubbing their noses in His Truth! Forward

Knowing he couldn't live on his pension, he took his chicken recipe in hand, got behind the wheel of his van, and set out to make his fortune. His first plan was to sell his chicken recipe to restaurant owners, who would in turn give him a residual for every piece of chicken they sold--5 cents per chicken. The first restaurateur he called on turned him down.
So did the second.
So did the third.
In fact, the first 1008 sales calls Colonel Sanders made ended in rejection. Still, he continued to call on owners as he traveled across the USA, sleeping in his car to save money. Prospect number 1009 gave him his first "yes."
After two years of making daily sales he had signed up a total of five restaurants. Still the Colonel pressed on, knowing that he had a great chicken recipe and that someday the idea would catch on. Of course, you know how the story ends. The idea DID catch on. By 1963 the Colonel had 600 restaurants across the country selling his secret recipe of Kentucky Fried Chicken (with 11 herbs and spices).
In 1964 he was bought out by future Kentucky governor John Brown. Even though the sale made him a multi-millionaire, he continued to represent and promote KFC until his death in 1990. Colonel Sanders' story teaches an important lesson: its never too late to decide to never give up.
Earlier in his life the Colonel was involved in other business ventures--but they weren't successful. He had a gas station in the 30's, a restaurant in the 40's, and he gave up on both of them. At the age of 65, however, Harland Sanders decided his chicken idea was the right idea, and he refused to give up, even in spite of repeated rejection.
He knew that if he kept on knocking on doors, eventually someone would say "yes." This is how Jesus has commanded to approach life. He said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Luke 11:9) This verse follows a story Jesus told emphasizing the importance of a "never-give-up" attitude in prayer. Jesus is saying, "Ask--not just once, but as many times as is necessary. Keep on knocking till the door is opened." If you have made half-hearted attempts at doing God's will in your life...if you have given up too easily in the past...remember: It's never too late to become persistent. It's never too late to decide to never give up. Keep on knocking. Keep on asking. Keep on seeking.

Do you like people who are rude to you? Do you mind if someone interrupts you? Are you happy when people ignore you? Of course not. No one likes bad manners. People with bad manners are rejected. They do not get the good jobs or the promotions. Their businesses do not succeed. People with good manners are accepted. They are liked and supported. They have more friends, luck and success. When you improve your manners, you improve your chances for success.
12 Examples of Good Manners :
1. Be polite to everyone you meet. You will never regret being too polite, but you might regret being rude. For example, when you go on a sales call or job interview, be courteous to receptionists and assistants as they can affect your chances of succeeding.
2. Use the magic words as often as possible: "Hello," "Please," "Excuse me," "Sorry" and these two most important words: "Thank you."
3. Use good manners in all of your communications.
Examples:
- Return telephone and e-mail messages within 24 hours.
- Do not use swear words or vulgar words.
- If you receive a rude message, do not respond with rudeness, but be polite.
- Do not interrupt people.
- Make sure people are ready to listen to you before you start talking.
- Talk less than 50% of the time.
4. Leave generous tips for food servers, luggage handlers, auto valets, hairdressers or barbers who do their jobs.
5. Use good manners as a driver. Weaving in and out of heavy traffic and cutting in front of other cars only gains you a few seconds of time. If you are courteous, patient and calm, you arrive safely and more relaxed.
6. Do not blow your nose, use toothpicks or perform other bodily activities in front of guests or people you respect. Never smoke around a non-smoker.

8. Arrive on time or early for appointments. When you arrive late, you appear to be disrespectful, disorganized or both.
9. A good sense of humor is good manners. However, avoid jokes about race, disability, sex and so on. Tell clean jokes about yourself or pass on humorous stories that anyone would enjoy.
10. If someone treats you with bad manners, do not lower yourself to the same level. Smooth out the friction with your best manners. For example, "I'm sure you have a good reason to swear at me, but I think we can work this out so we're both happy. Can you take a minute and try?"
11. Before starting important conversations, meals or meetings, turn off your cell phone. Ignoring people while you chat on your cell phone is disrespectful. You can probably leave your cell phone off for hours with no lasting harm.
12. Do not try to show off or prove you are more important than others. This is called "one-upmanship" and is poor manners. For example, a friend is excited about meeting an important scientist. You immediately "top" him and tell about the time when you met a much more important scientist. Instead, share your friend's excitement without bringing up your own story.
As you improve your manners, you will enjoy more support, admiration and respect from everyone around you.

1. Lack of Persistence
More people fail not because they lack knowledge or talent but because they quit. The total secret of success lies in two words, persistence and resistance. We all have had setbacks in life. Failing does not mean we are failures.
2. Lack of Conviction
People who lack conviction take the middle of the road; and guess what happens in the middle of the road? You get run over. People without conviction do not take a stand. They go along to get along because they lack confidence and courage. They conform in order to get accepted even when they know that what they are doing is wrong. They behave like part of a herd.
3. Rationalizing
Winners may analyze but never rationalize. That is a loser's game. Losers always have a book full of excuses to tell you why they could not. We hear excuses like..

Failure is a detour, not a dead end. It is a delay, not a defeat. Experience is the name we give to our mistakes.
5. Lack of Discipline
Anyone who has accomplished anything worthwhile has never done so without discipline. Discipline takes self-control, sacrifice, and avoiding distractions and temptations. It means staying focused. Steam does not move the engine unless it is confined. Niagara Falls would not generate power unless it were harnessed.
6.Poor Self-Esteem
Poor self-esteem is a lack of self-respect and self-worth. It leads to abuse of one’s self and others. People with low self-esteem are constantly lookig for identity. They are trying to find themselves. One’s self is not to be found but to be created. Idleness and laziness are consequences of poor self-esteem and so is making excuses. Idleness is like rust that eats into the most brilliant metal.
7.Fatalistic Attitude
A fatalistic attitude prevents people from accepting responsibility for their position in life. They attribute success and failure to luck. They resign
themselves to their fate. They believe and accept the predestined future written in their horoscope or stars, that regardless of their effort whatever has to happen will happen. Hence they never put in any effort and complacency becomes a way of life. They wait for things to happen rather than make them happen.

If you comparing crime in Austria and crime in the U.S. you’ll notice something odd: although the U.S. has higher crime rates in virtually every category (murder, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, etc…) the Austrians triumph in one category: burglary. But why? Why is the rate of burglaries in Austria a whopping 40% higher than in the U.S.? I’ll tell you why: because Austrian minimum security prisons are f#%*ing awesome! If you’re in Austria, and have a working brain, you should be trying to get into one right now!
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking: “Michael, you’ve made a pretty convincing argument so far and, truth be told, I wouldn’t mind hurting an Austrian or two and maybe picking up some new Bose speakers in the process. But what about the fact that you’re restricted in prison? Aren’t you isolated from your loved ones there? That doesn’t sound like fun.”
You see? What kind of five-star prison wouldn’t have a love shack, baby? And afterwards, keep in mind that there’s no time for fighting or arguing or anything. Your partner goes home and you retire to your balcony to rest and reflect on your long day of ping-ponging and ding-donging.
By now you’re probably saying to yourself: “Well, Michael, I’ve got my ski mask on, my crowbar in hand and I’m ready to roll — are you sure there are no downsides to this place?”
And to that I’m afraid I have to say that, yes, Guenther there are. There’s always a catch to everything, isn’t there? You’ll also be exposed to the word “auseinandersetzen” (to “confront” or “deal” with an issue) thousands of times. Like in some Stalinist show trial, you’ll have to admit that the reasons you stole that kid’s Playstation are: your sense of alienation from modern life, an unsupportive family structure, an unclear concept of right and wrong, Austrian society in general, and the movie Pirates of the Caribbean 2 in particular.
Ugh. Now that I think about it, it’s actually not worth it. And even if you’d like to go, the place is booked to capacity: 205 “prisoners” at the moment. It’s probably harder to get into this place than it is for a woman to join the Vienna Philharmonic.
Still, if you have to go to prison — choose Austria!

The professor of a university once challenged his students with this question.
'Did God create everything that exists?'
A student answered bravely, 'Yes, He did'.
The professor then asked, 'If God created everything, then He created evil. Since evil exists (as noticed by our own actions), so God is evil. The student could not respond to that statement causing the professor to conclude that he had 'proved' that the belief in God was a fairy tale, and therefore worthless.
Another student raised his hand and asked the professor, 'May I pose a question?'
'Of course', answered the professor.
The young student stood up and asked, 'Professor does cold exist?'
The professor answered, 'What kind of question is that? Of course cold exists... haven't you ever been cold?'
The young student answered, 'In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold, is in fact the absence of heat. Anything is able to be studied as long as it transmits energy (heat). Absolute Zero is the total absence of heat, but cold does not exist. What we have done is to create a term to describe how we feel if we don't have body heat or we are not hot.'
'And, does darkness exist?', he continued. The professor answered, 'Of course'.
This time the student responded, 'Again you're wrong, sir. Darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in fact simply the absence of light. Light can be studied, darkness can not. Darkness cannot be broken down. A simple ray of light tears the darkness and illuminates the surface where the light beam finishes. Dark is a term that we humans have created to describe what happens when there's lack of light.'
Finally, the student asked the professor, 'Sir, does evil exist?'
The professor replied, 'Of course it exists, as I mentioned at the beginning, we see violations, crimes and violence anywhere in the world, and those things are evil.'
The student responded, 'Sir, evil does not exist. Just as in the previous cases, evil is a term which man has created to describe the result of the absence of God's presence in the hearts of man.'
After this, the professor bowed down his head, and did not answer back.

He was driving home one evening, on a two-lane country road. Work, in this small mid-western community, was almost as slow as his beat-up Pontiac. But he never quit looking. Ever since the Levis factory closed, he'd been unemployed, and with winter raging on, the chill had finally hit home. It was a lonely road. Not very many people had a reason to be on it, unless they were leaving. Most of his friends had already left. They had families to feed and dreams to fulfill. But he stayed on. After all, this was where he buried his mother and father. He was born here and knew the country.
He could go down this road blind, and tell you what was on either side, and with his headlights not working, that came in handy. It was starting to get dark and light snow flurries were coming down. He'd better get a move on. You know, he almost didn't see the old lady, stranded on the side of the road. But even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe, he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill that only fear can put in you. He said, "I'm here to help you m'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm. By the way, my name is Joe."
Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough Joe crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt. As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down her window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid. Joe just smiled as he closed her trunk.
She asked him how much she owed him. Any amount would have been alright with her. She had already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Joe never thought twice about the money. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way. He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance that they needed, and Joe added "...and think of me".
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight. A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home.. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The cash register was like the telephone of an out of work actor, it didn't ring much.
Her waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed that the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Joe.
After the lady finished her meal, and the waitress went to get her change from a hundred dollar bill, the lady slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. She wondered where the lady could be, then she noticed something written on a napkin. There were tears in her eyes, when she read what the lady wrote. It said, "You don't owe me a thing, I've been there too. Someone once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here's what you do. Don't let the chain of love end with you."
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could she have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard. She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's gonna be alright, I love you Joe."
Always remember Life is a journey with its own series of ups and downs,but the greatest satisfaction ultimately lies in giving happiness to others.

The Power of Appreciation in Your Relationships

First the science: John M. Gottman, PhD, the country’s foremost relationship expert, found that what set apart marriages that succeeded (as opposed to the 67% of first marriages that ended in divorce) was a 5:1 ratio of positive to negative interactions. He found that even the smallest gestures counted: a smile, a pat, a “thank you.” This magic ratio isn’t confined to marriage. The same principle applies to all relationships.*
Here’s my favorite tool for injecting some quick positive energy: Appreciation Loops. You can use them any time you like, in any relationship, without dependence on the moods or actions of your partner. You can feel a shift in the dynamic immediately.
Appreciation loops follow this formula: Take a moment to say to your partner, “What I appreciate about you is__” and fill in the end of the sentence. Honesty is crucial. Try this without planning or even knowing where your sentence is going to end. See what comes up.
The magic of this practice lies in its independence from the other person’s action. Your appreciation is not contingent on your partner’s behavior. You are not saying “I would appreciate you if __” Nothing is more powerful than not trying to change the other. Instead, appreciation works like a circuit breaker to interrupt negative cycles: “We interrupt this regularly scheduled unhappiness to focus on the positive!”
Notice how challenging this can be in the middle of conflict and insecurity. What becomes possible when you face your partner and say “What I appreciate about you is__”? When you change your focus to the positive, your world changes. Using this tool when the relationship is already thriving is like building a bank account to draw on later.

Stop trying and start doing. When you see yourself as merely trying, you don't give yourself the benefit of a solid and complete commitment. When you're merely trying, every minor disruption becomes a major excuse for not following through. Go beyond trying, see yourself as doing, and the little bumps along the way will be much less likely to stop you. Would you rather have a trying life or a life overflowing with achievement and fulfillment? The difference comes by replacing all your trying with the full commitment of doing.
When you see yourself as trying to achieve something, you're constantly sending yourself a message that you really don't deserve it. Instead, choose to see yourself as actively making it happen and you'll become confident of a positive, successful outcome. If you're merely trying, what's the point? Take one more step up on the ladder of commitment, and focus your energy on making it happen. You deserve that very best that life has to offer. Go beyond just trying, and you will make it so.

Learn to look at every difficult situation as a present; the gift within is the possibilities it holds. To open the gift you must find the "possibility".
When you are in a difficult or a stressful situation, reflect on the following four questions:
1) Could it be worse?
2) Are there lessons I can learn to avoid a similar situation in the future?
3) What good can be realized?
4) What am I going to do about it?
COULD IT BE WORSE?
In the majority of cases, there is always a worse situation we could be in. By reflecting on a worse situation, it helps put the current situation into perspective.
ARE THERE LESSONS I CAN LEARN TO AVOID A SIMILAR SITUATION IN THE FUTURE?
Look at the situation. Could it have been avoided? Don't go beating yourself up for not realizing this previously. Learn from the situation. Mistakes are our greatest teachers! No sense dwelling on the issue. Recognize and think of ways for the future to avoid a similar situation and then move on! Remember you can't change the past, but you can change the future!
WHAT GOOD CAN BE REALIZED?
This is the gift. Rather than focusing our energy and thoughts on the negative of the situation, look for the positive. Sometimes you have to look hard, sometimes you don't even realize until later. But in every situation, there is positive, you just have to find it! By focusing on the positive you are helping to reduce your stress levels!
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
In my opinion, this is the most critical! What are you going to do? Often just by taking action, by doing something about the situation can relieve the stress and help correct the situation.
If you focus on the possible when you experience difficult situations, YOU CAN positively change your outlook, reduce your stress, and concentrate on achieving things that otherwise may not have been possible.

Many a times people ask different questions related to relationships. They are interested in physiology relating to what people are attracted to, how to tell whether they are attracted to a person and a little on maintaining a relationship. Also what are the best ways of interacting with others to make them and yourself feel comfortable. Before you begin actually working on your relationship, you need to start by understanding relationships in general. The friends relationship
Lets take an example of Best friend relationship. What is expected out of it? It shouldn't be so casual as to make a list of qualities that a best friend had to have. A best friend is very very special all that's important is that you both really enjoy each others company. It is not uncommon for a growing person and their bestest dearest friend to drift apart as you both will change as you get older,interests change and you each go down your own separate path of life. Don't sweat it. Understanding, compassion, empathy, passion, listening, communicating, loving, etc are some other traits we look for while looking for a best friend.
Some tips to carry the relationship
First figure what your fears are. Are you afraid of getting involved with someone seriously, in fear of getting dumped in the long run? Or has a past relationship damaged your image of love; due to the pain it caused you? These are all understandable fears and almost everyone has them, but you should not let these fears stop you from moving on or being happy. You need to rebuild confidence in yourself and others. Other examples would be fear of not being good enough and fear of missing out on other adventures. Whatever your fear may be, you must trap that fear, find out the causes and then work on a solution on how to conquer them.
Some tips to remember for relationships
You will probably not know your soulmate right away.
Relationships rarely look like romantic movies or books.
It takes years to really get to know someone.
Great relationships are completely worth the effort.
In spite of lots of bad relationships, a great relationship is possible.
A relationship is like a living being - it needs love, caring, space, etc.

Studies prove that during a hurricane, a palm tree will simply stretch and not break from the strong winds. This type of question is known among men as a litmus test, a touchy topic that women raise to gauge whether we’re politically, morally, or spiritually on the same page as them (the death penalty, gay marriage, and the war in Iraq also fit the bill). Sure, we probably have strong opinions. But we’re not interested in getting into them with you, at least not yet. After all, this is a date, not debate club. Wow it's a mad world - people killing and hating each other, children dying, communities becoming an alien concept and the new living to work attitude taking over.
What is happening?
And what can we do about it?
Mahatma Gandhi once said - "Be the change you want to see in the world."
Can we really start to make a change to this world by doing our bit?
Sure we can.
And this is exactly what I want to cover today in this article.

I want to get on to Random Acts of Kindness - something that I have mentioned before in other articles.
A Random Act of Kindness is exactly what it says it is.
What could you do today that would make someone else's day?
What could you change in yourself that would ultimately enrich the world around you?
Remember the greatest gift that you could give anyone is your time.
As I have said before - gifts can be brought, money can be earned, but your time can never be replaced.
Here are a few Random Acts of Kindness that you could achieve in order make someone else's day.
1. Share your smile with people! Sounds simple, but makes all the difference.
2. Tell a friend or colleague just how appreciated they are. Write and email or call and do it in person.
3. Buy a shopping basket of food and donate it to a homeless shelter or old persons home.
4. If someone has given you good service make sure that you commend them.
5. Plant a tree. I especially like this one as it makes sense, what with climate change.
6. Save your magazines and take them to the local Doctors office, homeless shelter, etc.
There are so many little things that you can do to help out others and to make yourself feel good on the inside.
So why don't you take today as an opportunity to make a change to yours and someone else's world?
Remember that a few seconds of your time, could mean the world to someone less fortunate than yourself.

A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door.
It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.
Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday."
Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.
"Jack, did you hear me?"
"Oh sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It' s been so long since I thought of him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said.
"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of the fence' as he put it," Mom told him.
"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.
"You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life," she said.
"He's the one who taught me carpentry," he said. "I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important...Mom, I'll be there for the funeral," Jack said.
As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.
The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time. Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time. The house was exactly as he remembered.
Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.
"What's wrong, Jack?" his Mom asked.
"The box is gone," he said.
"What box?" Mom asked.
"There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell me was the thing I value most," Jack said. It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.
"Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him," Jack said.
"I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom."
It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home from work one day Jack disc overed a note in his mailbox. "Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days," the note read.
Early the next day Jack retrieved the package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention. "Mr. Harold Belser" it read.
Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside. "Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life."
A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch. Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover. Inside he found these words engraved: "Jack, Thanks for your time! - Harold Belser."
"The thing he valued most...was...my time."
Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days. "Why?" Janet, his assistant asked.
"I need some time to spend with my son," he said. "Oh, by the way, Janet...thanks for your time!"
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away."
A lady recently being baptized was asked by a coworker what it was like to be a Christian.
She replied, 'It's like being a pumpkin.'
God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off you may have gotten from the other pumpkins.
Then he cuts the top off and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.

Your priorities are not determined by what you say they are. Your most genuine priorities are expressed by what you actually do with your life and your time. Look around you, and you'll see very clearly what your priorities have been up to this point. Those priorities have brought you to where you are right now.
If something is truly a priority for you, you absolutely are able to find a way to reach it. If it's not a priority, it's probably not going to happen for you. You can set your priorities and you can change them at any time to be whatever you choose. But merely wishing for something does not make it a priority.
The priorities that are really priorities are the ones that dictate where you focus your awareness. The priorities that truly matter are the ones in which you invest your interest, your attention and, most importantly, your action.
You can follow whatever priorities you choose, and in every moment you are constantly choosing. Remember, as you go through each day, to choose those priorities that will bring the special joy and fulfillment that is yours to live.

I was driving home from a meeting this evening about 5, stuck in traffic on Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and sputter and die - I barely managed to coast, cruising, into a gas station, glad only that I would not be blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow truck. It wouldn't even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a woman walking out of the 'quickie mart' building, and it looked like she slipped on some ice and fell into a Gas pump, so I got out to see if she was okay.
When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs than that she had fallen; she was a young woman who looked really haggard with dark circles under her eyes. She dropped something as I helped her up, and I picked it up to give it to her. It was a nickel.
At that moment, everything came into focus for me: the crying woman, the ancient Suburban crammed full of stuff with 3 kids in the back (1 in a car seat), and the gas pump reading $4.95. I asked her if she was okay and if she needed help, and she just kept saying ' don't want my kids to see me crying,' so we stood on the other side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving to California and that things were very hard for her right now. So I asked, 'And you were praying?' That made her back a away from me a little, but I assured her I was not a crazy person and said, 'He heard you, and He sent me.'
I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader on the pump so she could fill up her car completely, and while it was fuelling, walked to the next door McDonald's and bought 2 big bags of food, some gift certificates for more, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the car, who attacked it like wolves, and we stood by the pump eating fries and talking a little.
She told me her name, and that she lived in Kansas City. Her boyfriend left 2 months ago and she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she wouldn't have money to pay rent Jan 1, and finally in desperation had finally called her parents, with whom she had not spoken in about 5 years. They lived in California and said she could come live with them and try to get on her feet there.
So she packed up everything she owned in the car. She told the kids they were going to California for Christmas, but not that they were going to live there. I gave her my gloves, a little hug and said a quick prayer with her for safety on the road. As I was walking over to my car, she said, 'So, are you like an angel or something?'
This definitely made me cry. I said,'Sweetie, at this time of year angels are really busy, so sometimes God uses regular people.'
It was so incredible to be a part of someone else's miracle. And of course, you guessed it, when I got in my car it started right away and got me home with no problem. I'll put it in the shop tomorrow to check, but I suspect the mechanic won't find anything wrong.

They pick you up when you are down, and give you the energy to go on and believe in yourself.

Nothing is ever too much, no matter what time it is, night or day.

Although the miles may separate you, a true friend is never far away.
"S" is for Secrets.
Your feelings and personal/private thoughts that you can only share with a friend.
"H" is for Happiness.
The way one feels when they are with a friend.
"I" is for Inseparable.
Through good times and bad, tears and laughter. A friend will always be there for you.
"P" is for Perfect.
The friendship.
I sit quietly looking out the window, images replaying in my brain. In one image, I'm in my twenties and I'm pleading with my mother not to marry me off. In the next, I see myself sitting with my first born in my arms. But I am still crying. Twenty years later, I'm still crying. I think after all these years, why wasn't I more firm? If I was, I would have been a happier person in a different life.
There's no answer to the accusation… only the pain of regret. 'Regret' that's the name of the pain that sears through your heart over and over. It's a hybrid creature half thought, half emotion. We look at our actions in cold judgment, we find them terribly lacking and keep on imagining a life that would have been better-if only we had strived to make it so
Sometimes, there is a lesser feeling of anguish called 'wishful' regret. Most of the time, I really wish I had done things differently. Usually, 'wishful regret' works when I think of things I didn't do. Right now, I'm spending my life with a lot of “If-Only's and What-ifs”!
Speaking to a few of the fellow “regretees” to check out how regret works, I found men and women have different ways of dealing with regret. Men focus on what they have done and women focus what they have not done. At the end of it all, I have come to realize like many people out there, I will never be able to get rid of this, “REGRET”. I won't be able to change my life. But this much I do know, as I think obsessively about a regret, it hurts and it hurts. So what can I do?
I have discovered that writing about it helps a little to relieve the pangs of regret somewhat. Even talking about it helps to ease the pain. My staunch friends have been my sounding board. They have provided a lot of support in my days of darkness. Without them, I could not have come out of the abyss of regret. But then, one must learn to figure out who your true friends are. Unconditional friendship can help the healing process somewhat.
So readers, it doesn't matter how vehemently you deny not having any regrets, you do have them. Some may be small and insignificant and some can be as big and momentous as mine. The best way to deal with it is to live with it and to learn from it. Because there is nothing else in the world that you can do about it. Life is a continuous learning process. You can learn not to make the same mistakes ever again. You can also just seize opportunities when they present themselves to you with more determination and courage without looking back.
Otherwise you will end up in a world of what ifs…just like me…..

A MBA and a BE student go on a camping trip, set up their tent ,and fell asleep.
Some hours later, the BE wakes his MBA friend and says
